BEGINNINGS

Our Story

Educait was founded by Sean and Shane, two technology consultants with a shared passion for Artificial Intelligence and its potential for social good.

As they witnessed the transformative impact of AI in various industries, they began to realise how powerful this technology would be in transforming the education sector.

With firsthand experience of the challenges faced by educators, they were motivated to create a solution to alleviate the strain on teachers and improve the learning experience for students.

Thus, Educait was born: an AI-assistant designed to support and enhance the work of teachers. Through their expertise in technology and their understanding of the needs of the education sector, Sean and Shane are dedicated to delivering a product that will make a positive impact in schools and ultimately, contribute to the advancement of education.

Sean Jayakrishna

Co-Founder

 

Sean has a broad set of experience from startup, automations consulting to multimillion pound technology transformation. He graduated in Chemical Engineering with Management from Loughborough University.

Shane Jayakrishna

Shane has worked in commercial strategy and has successfully supported the agile delivery of large-scale technology transformations, applying data science to the insurance sector. Shane graduated from Newcastle University with an MEng in Chemical Engineering

Janet Bridges OBE

Education Advisor

 

With over 30 years in the education sector, Janet has held various leadership roles, starting as a Head of Geography, then Humanities, and progressing to Deputy Headship and Headship roles. Janet has extensive experience in curriculum development, staff professional development, and managing schools in challenging circumstances. As the CEO of Castle View Enterprise Academy, she's led a successful team, culminating in an OBE award in 2013 for oustanding contributions to education.
